Rev. Gene Morgan

Rev. Gene Morgan, age 80, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Monday December 19, 2022, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.

He was born in Jessamine County Ky, a son to the late Elmer and Nellie Morgan. Gene was self-employed and worked in construction. Gene was also a faithful member of Souls Harbor Church where he ministered and loved to work.

He is survived by his wife Florene Cathers Morgan, Children Gena Morgan Carrington, Carole Morgan Hesson (Jeff), Michael Cathers (Staci) and Stephanie LaPierre, grandchildren Adam, Clay, Ashley, Samantha, Matthew, Christina Ashley, Brandon, Christina, Tyler, and 3 Great-grandchildren. Brother James Jenkins, and Sister Linda Morgan Cooper (Cecil). and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 11-1 pm on Thursday December 22, 2022, at Souls Harbor Church in London KY, where his funeral service will be held at 1pm.

Burial will follow in Young Cemetery off Hwy 90.
