Rev. Kenneth Warfield

Rev. Kenneth Warfield, 71, of Corbin, husband of Frances Warfield, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 at his home.  He was the son of the late Arnold and Cleo Warfield, born on April 7, 1946 in Knox County.
Kenneth was a retired coal miner of 37 years. He was an evangelist to serve his Lord, and was a member of the Woodbine Baptist Church.
He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sister, Katherine Helton.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Frances; three children: Kenneth Christopher "Pie Daddy" Warfield (Tina) of Girdler, Suzanna Kissinger (James) of Corbin, and Douglas2 grandchildren: Hope Blevins (Dusty) of Barbourville, Breanna Farley (Josh) of Lexington, Larry Warfield of Lexington, Aaron Kissinger of Corbin, Tristan Elliott of Gray, Kaitlyn Medlin (Trenton) of Gray, Tyler Warfield of Girdler, Kody Warfield of Corbin, Alex Kissinger of Corbin, Austin Kissinger of Corbin, Abigail and Miley Warfield of Girdler; four great-grandchildren: Parker Blevins of Barbourville, Eden Elizabeth Rose Farley of Lexington, Kayden Medlin of Gray, and Cooper Lane Blevins of Barbourville; and many other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Vankirk-Grisell with Rev. Dexter Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Campbell Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and honorary will be great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the funeral at 2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
