Richard Austin Lawson

Richard Austin Lawson, 62, of Keavy, passed away Monday, December 19, 2005 at his residence.
Born July 20, 1943, he was the son of the late George Thomas Lawson and the late Emily Jane Storms Lawson. He was Baptist by faith and was a self-employed construction worker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife Rose Masur Lawson; four children, Vincent Masur, Jeannie Masur, Richard Lawson and Randy Masur; two grandchildren, Mariah Smith and Caleb Lawson; three brothers, George Lawson and Vasco Lawson of Keavy and John Lawson of London.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Richard Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawson Family Cemetery at Keavy.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 pm Thursday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
