Richard Vernon Lewis

Richard Vernon Lewis was born June 30, 1948 to Oscar Vernon Lewis and Lois Marie Jackson Lewis in Corbin, Kentucky. He passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky, being 71 years of age. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Lewis; mother, Lois Lewis; and one sister, Flo Lewis. He is survived by two daughters, April Diane Lewis and Melissa Ann Lewis; two brothers, Eugene Lewis (Geneva Witt), and Benny Lewis; two sisters, Brenda Wilson and Janice Lewis; one granddaughter, Mallory Rayann Crawford; a special friend and companion, Pat Felts Baxter; and a a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn his passing. A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2020, at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. There will be no visitation.
