Riley Shorter

Riley Shorter, age 79, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday January 19, 2022, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born in Pineville, KY, and was a retired painter with Jansen Painting and Decorating in Elkhart, Indiana. Riley was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosea Lee Shorter, parents, Henry and Elva Rose Shorter, brothers, Earl, Jim, and Finley Shorter, and by his sisters, Mary Eagleson and Erma Lee Wesfall. He is survived by his wife, Martha Hollin Shorter, daughters, Tammy Seabolt and Patricia Seabolt and husband Tom, grandchildren, Dylan Seabolt, Stacey Person, Marty Seabolt, Thomas Seabolt, and Kelly Snider, great grandchildren, Bailey, Brooklyn, Charlie, Pipper, Tyler, Shawndi, Breanna, Abigail, and Kaitlyn, brother, Bob Shorter, sister, Lola Wilder, and by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Saturday January 22, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Funeral service for Riley Shorter will then be held at 2pm on Sunday January 23rd at Living Waters Pentecostal Church in Gray, with Rev. Charlie Humfleet officiating.
