Rl Mason

RL Mason, 75, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Arnold Mason. He was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by two children, Troy Douglas Dewayne Carr and wife Michele, and William Dewayne Mason; two grandchildren, Joshua Dewayne Mason and Cody Dewayne Carr; sister, Sarah Lowe and husband Frank; niece, Brenda Skeen; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; and former companion, Lillie Mae Jones, all who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, November 22, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Johnson and Rev. Randy Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Faber.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
