Robert D. Reeder

Robert D. Reeder, age 79, of Corbin passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Baptist Health Corbin.
He was a son of the late Hubert and Della Harris Reeder, and was preceded in death by siblings Ruby Crider, Margret Petrey, Walter Reeder, Fred Reeder, and Larry Reeder.
Robert was a U.S. mail delivery contractor and enjoyed building and woodworking. He belonged to Sandstone Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Brenda Reeder; five children and two stepchildren: Robert Reeder, Jr., Ricky Reeder, Kim McFarland, Rodney Reeder, Rosia Tennant, Debora Lloyd, and Robert Myers; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a sister, Jenny Lane and three brothers, Lee Reeder, Clyde Reeder, and Lawrence Reeder.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9pm Tuesday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
His funeral will be conducted at 11am Wednesday with Rev. Eric Lauterwasser and Rev. Ivan Siler officiating.
Burial will follow at the Elliott Cemetery near Mackey Bend in Knox County.
