Robert Ronald Mayne

Robert Ronald Mayne, age 70 years, 11 months, and 27 days old, went to be with the Lord, his Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters, Friday morning, January 27, 2012, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Mayne is preceded in death by his parents, James and Zina Mayne; brothers, Glenys Mayne, Leland Mayne, Egan Mayne, and Raymond Mayne, all of Rockholds; and sisters, Carol Croley of Corbin and Rovena Gibbins of Rockholds.
He is survived by sisters, Florene Gambrel of Woodbine, Marilyn Brooks of Corbin, Peggy Muntz of Rockholds, and Sandra Stanley and husband Ralph of Rockholds; also numerous nieces and nephews, and two special friends, Hank Green and Ruth Decker of Corbin, all who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 2pm Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Wells officiating. Burial will be in the Slusher Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Saturday, Jan. 28, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY 40701.
