Rodney Marshall Phipps

Rodney Marshall Phipps, 25, of Gray, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2005 at his residence.
Born April 23, 1980 in Corbin, he was the son of Roger and Donna Doolin Phipps. Rodney attended the Hillside House of Prayer and was employed at Forest Products of Gray.
He is survived by his wife Samantha Smith Phipps of Gray; his parents, Roger and Donna Phipps of Gray; a son, Hunter Smith; two sisters, Michelle Smith & husband Charlie of Gray, and Danielle Smith & husband Calvin of Gray; and six nieces and nephews, Joshua Smith, Brianna Smith, Trenton Phipps, Jordan Smith, Tylen Smith, and Braylen Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the New Phipps Cemetery at Gray.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00-2:00 Wednesday, May 25, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
