Roger Vernon Bargo, age 62, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Harlan, Kentucky the Son of Clark and Linda Scott Bargo. Roger was a born again Christian and a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Corbin.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Clark Bargo and one Sister, Sue Bargo.
He is survived by his Wife of 42 years, Janice Bargo; Mother, Linda Scott Bargo; Three Sons, Mike Bargo and wife Leah, Tim Bargo and wife Tammy, and Tony Bargo and wife Tammy all of Corbin; 8 Grandchildren; Brandon, Austin, and Adam Bargo, Brittany and Justin Bargo, Dylan Adams, Madyson and Logan Bargo; Five Brothers, Ottis Bargo and wife Wanda of Loveland, OH, Delbert Bargo of Thompsonville, IL, Royal Bargo and wife Eva of Harlan, KY, Bruce Bargo and wife Pat of Pittsburg, IL, and Leon Bargo and wife Doris of Harlan; Sister-In-Law, Ruby Elliott of Corbin, Brother-in-law, Cecil Campbell and wife Etta of Heidrick, KY. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.
Funeral service will be on Sunday, April 1, 2007 at 3pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Herschel Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Gray Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Saturday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
