Ronald Bunch

Ronald Bunch, age 72, of Williamsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Monday October 3, 2022, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington.

He was born in Chattanooga, TN a son to the late Clyde F. Bunch and Fayetta Overton Bunch.  Ronald was a retired auxiliary police officer and former owner of Ron's Sohio in Jackson Center, Ohio. He was a retired production manager and machinist at Honda Anna Engine Plant. He enjoyed welding trailers, woodworking, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.  Ron gave his life to the Lord and was baptized at a Baptist Church in Spokane, Washington when he was 10 years old.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Matt Evan, and by a brother, Dennis Bunch.

Ron is survived by and married the love of his life and wife of 52years, Ocie May Hayslip Bunch, who he married on July 18, 1970.  In addition, he is survived by his daughter, Sheri (Johnny) Bingham, and sons, Chad (Misty) Bunch, Kyle Bunch, and Troy Bunch; his grandchildren, Mason Bunch, Malaya Spencer, Dylan Spencer, Cameron Surgener, Barbie Bingham, Chey Evans, Caol Bunch, and Calvin Bunch;  his great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Cameron, Alaina, Luna, Braxton, Baby J, Leon, Wolfie, and Phoenix;  brothers, Jeff Bunch and Mitch Bunch;  sister, Kim (Steve) DeCou;  sisters-in-law, Janet (Joe) Risch, Carol (Ed) Knauff, Shelda Hayslip, Patty Hayslip, and Delcie McCoy;  brother-in-law, Denver Fenton;  step-mother, Misun Bunch;  dear cousin, Pam McIntyre, who was more like a sister to him;  two very special friends, Jack Stoddard and Jim Poppe;  and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

Visitation for Ron Bunch will be held from 12noon until 2pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday with Rev. Vernon Jones officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's memory may be made to the United Way.
