Ronald Edward Hensley

Ronald E. Hensley, 64, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born in Benham, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Leo and Sally Holmes Hensley. He was a retired environmental engineer employed by Flowers Bakery, and was a member of Frankfort Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law Lloyd Weddle and Max Baldridge.
He is survived by his wife Janie Sue Hensley; son Jason Hensley and wife Rhonda; siblings Brenda Potter and husband Lee, Priscilla Weddle, Leonda Baldridge, Leo Hensley Jr. and wife Sheila, Rev. Charles E. Hensley and wife Cindy, and Nedra O’Roark and husband Patrick; two grandchildren Kayla and Jacob Hensley; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. James Hodge and Rev. Charles E. Hensley officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. on Friday and from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
