Ronald Joe Hensley

Ronald Joe Hensley, 66, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, August 16,2020 at Baptist Health Corbin. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ronald had worked at Aisin Automotive. His child and grandchildren were the light of his life. He loved them dearly and looked forward to seeing them every day. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Myrtle Hensley; brothers, Donnie Hensley and Stevie Hensley; brothers-in-law, Gary Cummings, Phillip Cox, and Larry Wagers; father-in-law, James Decker; and two nephews, Dewayne Decker and Adam Decker. Ronald is survived by his wife, Sandy Hensley; daughter, Crystal (Mark) Hagan; grandchildren, Haley (Jimi) Lambdin and Macy Hagan; two great-grandchildren, Jace and Noah Lambdin; siblings, Pauline Cummings, Vickie Cox, Mona (Jim) Briar, Johnny Hensley; step-sisters, Billie (Kenneth) Walters, Lois Brown, Jean (Bill) Click, and Dottie Shelley; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 20, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Medlin officiating. Burial will be in the Gray Cemetery.
