Rondal Lee Brewer

Rondal Lee Brewer, age 77, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011, at the Oak Tree Hospital in Corbin.
Born in Knox County, he was the son of the late Steve and Vina Engle Brewer. He had been a farmer, was a member of the West Corbin Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Adarene Smallwood and her husband Dillard.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Napier Brewer; son, Andrew L. Brewer; three sisters, Loretta Smith and her husband Tom and their daughter Renee, Kathy Lay and her husband J.D. and their children Marline and Jennie, and Etta Brockman and her husband Doyle and their children Natasha and Steven Doyle; two brothers, Wayne Brewer and his wife Joan and their children Wayne Brewer Jr., Diane, and Kevin, and Lonnie Brewer and his wife Donna and their children Scotty, Steven and David; children of his late sister Adarene, Brenda, Danny, Ann, Mark, and Janice; and a host of friends and family who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 2pm Friday, October 28, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Simmons and Rev. Brian Burkehead officiating. Burial will be in the Hart Cemetery on Moore Hill.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
