Ronnie J. Mays

Ronnie J. Mays, age 53, of Dandridge, TN passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at his residence.
He was a native of Nashville, TN and the son of Betty Mays of Nashville and the late William "Bill" Mays. A cousin Nolan Swain also preceded him in death.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rose Cassidy Mays; his mother Betty Mays; daughters Morgan Evans (Heath) and Cassie Vaughn (Randall); grandchildren Wyatt, Willow, and Mason; his sister Debbie Shirley (Paul); niece Chelsea; a special uncle Horace Swain and family. Other survivors include his mother-in-law Beulah Cassidy of Corbin and her four sons and their families, and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9pm Sunday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Masonic rites will be conferred at 7pm Sunday by the Hugh Harris Lodge #938 F&AM.
Ronnie's funeral will be held at noon Monday with Ernie Robbins and Gus Kalos officiating. He will be laid to rest at Locust Grove Cemetery at Keavy.
Memorials may be given to one's preferred charity.
