Rose Dees Felts, 63, of London, formerly of Corbin, went to be with Jesus on March 16, 2009, at her residence in London.
She was a former employee of Huff Drug. She was a life-long member of Dorthae Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by a very special uncle and aunt, Jesse and Edna Dees; and a brother, Randy Musselman.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jerry L. Felts, of London; one son, Donnie Alan Lawson and wife Ada of Jamestown, KY; one daughter, Bridgett Felts McWhorter and husband Darren of London; six precious grandchildren, Dustin Alan Lawson, Morgan Ann Lawson, Jakob McWhorter, Taelor Lawson, Cole McWhorter, and Jude McWhorter; her mother, Virginia Musselman of Corbin; one brother, Stevie Musselman and wife Rosiland, of Helenwood, Tennessee; sisters, Joann Miller and husband Leroy of Corbin; Doris Cotha Cathers of Corbin; Kathleen Courtney of Williamstown, KY; Frankie Crooks and husband Joe of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Susan Poynter, of Corbin.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, from 6-9 pm at Dorthae Pentecostal Church. The funeral service will be on Thursday, March 19, at 2pm at Dorthae Pentecostal Church with Rev. Carl Ray Felts, Rev. Billy Evans, Rev. Richard Rogers, and Rev. Mark Huff officiating.
Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
The Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
