Rosetta Payne Sizemore, age 67, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Baptist Health in Corbin.
Born in Cannon, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Payne and Lucy Mae Simpson Payne. She worked at TCO in Corbin, and was Baptist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Harold, Habe, and Clifford Payne, Georgie McDaniels, and Della Brock; and grandchild, Chelsey Brooke Asher.
She is survived by five children: Lucy Oldham and husband Ernest of Louisville, Michael Sizemore and wife Michelle of Girdler, Jerri Miracle and husband Mark of Oxford, Michigan, Serena Asher and husband Jim Bob of Keavy, and Eric Sizemore of Corbin; grandchildren: Sam, Derek, Kyle, Hayley, Holli, Alex, Shana, Brittany, Mark, Amanda, Wesley, Kaitlyn, Kristen, and Joshua; great-grandchildren: Layla, Maya, Oliver, Katie, Jolie and Joseph; sisters: Delores Payne and Stella Payne; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends, including special friends Rhonda Gray and Phyllis McAdams and her co-workers at TCO.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Monday, April 15th, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bennie Bush officiating. Burial will be in the Hawn Cemetery in Knox County.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Sunday, April 14th, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
