Roy Glen Hughes

Roy Glen Hughes, age 62, of Woodbine, KY, passed away on Saturday April 18, 2015 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.
He was born in Barbourville, KY to the late Dallas and Icie Hughes and was a coal miner and former employee of General Shale Brickyard in Woodbine.
In addition to his Parents he was preceded in death by his Brother, Mike Hughes.
Roy is survived by his Daughter, Gloria Wood and husband D.J.; Grandchildren, Jonathon and Rebecca Wood; Great Granddaughter, Cierra Wood; Sisters, Phyllis Patterson, Joyce Hughes Davis, June Hughes, and Polly Hughes Dugger; and by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial service for Roy Hughes will be held privately by his family.
Arrangements by the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
