Roy H. Eaton

Roy H. Eaton, 79, of Corbin, pased away Sunday, March 21, 2004 at the Heritage. He was born on April 25, 1924 in Keavy, Kentucky to the late Milford and Ida Eaton. He was Baptist by faith and was a retired diesel mechanic for the Whayne Supply Company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil, Howard, Farris and Cleatus Eaton.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Barnett Eaton; son Roger Eaton and wife Dava of Franklin, Kentucky; sister Ruth Eaton of Corbin; brother George Eaton of Keavy; several loving sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, March 24, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the McDaniel Cemetery at Keavy.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 pm Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
