Roy Henry Prewitt, Sr.

Roy Henry Prewitt, Sr., age 65, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at his home.
He was a member of the New Covenant Church and had worked at American Greeting in Corbin.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Dolphus B. Prewitt and Pearl M. Engle Prewitt; Brother, S.B. Prewitt; two Sisters, Barbara Stewart and Pauline Shepherd.
He is survived by his loving Wife, Ettie Faye Helton Prewitt; three Sons: Walter Prewitt, Roy Prewitt Jr. and wife Lynda, and  Michael Prewitt and wife Shauna; three Grandchildren: Sondra Marez, Daisy Lawson, and Martin Prewitt; four Sisters: Maxine Saylor of Lafayette, IN, Dixie Victors of Hamilton, MI, Cordelia Prewitt of Woodbine, and Betty McDonald of Holland, MI; Brother, Dolphus B. Prewitt, Jr. of Fennville, MI; as well as many other Family and Friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Sunday, June 14, 2009, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Rev. Ed Wayne Gibson, Rev. Russell Jones, and Rev. James Helton Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Terrell Cemetery with family and friends serving as pall bearers.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 13th, from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
