Roy Kenneth Parks, Jr.

Roys Kenneth Parks, Jr. 56, of Corbin, passed away Friday, April 1, 2005 at his residence.
Born August 11, 1948 in Jellico, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Roy K. Parks, Sr. and of Ethel Pennington Parks who survives. He was Baptist by faith and was the owner of Roy's Maintenance and was a local plumber.
In addition to his father, Roy was preceded in death by his nephew Glen Ray Peace.
He is survived by his mother, Ethel Pennington Parks; one son, Kenneth Parks and wife Terry; one daughter, Lisa Elstein and husband David; three sisters, Thelma Hensley and husband Charles, Phyllis Parks, and Betty Abner; four grandchildren, Ryan Parks, Brianna Parks, Jared Elstein and Thelma Scott; and a very special loved one, Eva Jean Parks.
Graveside services will be at 2 pm Wednesday, April 6, at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily with Pastor Robert King officiating. There will be no visitation.
The Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
