Roy Robin Gorsuch, Jr.

Roy Gorsuch, Jr., 56, of Gray, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington.
Born in Wounded Knee, South Dakota, he was the son of the late Roy Gorsuch Sr. and Ruth Thomas Gorsuch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Elsie Gorsuch.
He is survived by one son, Justin Gorsuch of Corbin; five daughters, Brittney Reed and Shasta Cook of Corbin, Chasity Lopez and Darcy Gorsuch of Iowa, and Kelly Jo Hanna of Texas; former wife, Alice Helton of Gray; two brothers, Ricky Gorsuch of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Randy Gorsuch; one sister, Roberta Vasquell of Iowa; grandchildren, Tristan Reed, Dalton Cook, Domanick Cook, Sidney Cook, and Alyssa Canady, all who will mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 3 pm Saturday, April 7, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.
VFW Post 1410 will conduct military graveside honors.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
