Ruby Virginia Gibson

Ruby Virginia Gibson, age 90, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Gibson and Martha Ellison Gibson. She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Gibson; and sisters, Vivian Morgan and Lois Gibson.
She is survived by her sister, Georgia Lee Gibson Matlock Hibbard; brother, Arnold Gibson and wife Jane; niece, Kensee Matlock Wright; nephew whom she raised as a son, Paul Estle and wife Judy; and several nieces and nephews, all who mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be a 7:00 pm on Thursday, Feb. 6, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at 11 am on Friday, Feb. 7, at the Pine Hill Cemetery.
