Russell Clark Warren

Russell C. Warren age 71 of Gray, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 at New Tazewell, TN.
Russell was the son of the late James Warren and late Cora Broughton Warren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Hazel Warren.
He was born October 9, 1944 in the Stinking Creek area of Knox County. Russell was a route salesman for Lance snacks. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Russell was a member of Keck Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Lauretta Vaughn Warren of Corbin. Five children: Daughters Brenda Warren of Richmond, Hazel Carnes and her husband Bobby of Gray and Rhonda Warren Tiller and her husband Steve of Rutherfordton, NC; Sons Roger Warren of Marietta, GA and Rodney Warren of Gray. Nine grandchildren: Megan Warren of Portland, OR, Trent Warren of Georgetown, KY, Trisha Carnes of Gray, RJ Warren of Corbin, Ashley Tiller, Nathan Tiller, Mary Tiller and April Tiller all of Rutherfordton, NC; and Matt Warren; Two great-grandchildren Mateo Jones of Portland, OR, Kabella Warren of Georgetown, KY. Brothers, Orville Warren and wife Sue and Buford Warren and wife Linda; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 5 PM to 9 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Vankirk Grisell Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 11 AM Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Siler and Rev. Darrell Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Warren Family Cemetery.
