Ruth Ann Shannon, 63, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007 at her residence.
Born July 14, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of Carl Frederick Shannon and Frances Devereaux Shannon. She was a retired instructor for the Whitley County Board of Education.
She is survived by two daughters, Shannon Elizabeth Callahan and Jennifer Rachel Brandt.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
