Ruth Florence

Ruth Florence 83, of Flatwoods Road, Corbin, passed away Friday, Dec. 17, 2004 at her residence.
Born June 20, 1921 in Maine, Ruth was the daughter of Charles Walker and Hazel Merifield Walker. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert O. Florence and her sister Alice Deer.
She is survived by her daughter Clair Moore of Corbin; her son Robert O. Florence of New Hampshire; by ten grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004 at the McFarland Cemetery in West Corbin with Bishop Eric Maguet officiating. Burial is in the McFarland Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
