Sandra F. Aures Helton

Sandra F. Aures Helton, age 79, of Woodbine, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday April 28, 2022, at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Buffalo, NY, a daughter to the late Eldon Aures and Norma Browers Aures. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Helton, great grandson Brody Helton, grandparents, Bertha and Harold Browers, and by aunts and uncles, Fred and Gladys Hickey, Bob Browers, Mike Browers, and Cy and Rita Aures. Sandy is survived by her children, Norma Boyd (Dave), Tina Hackler (Kenny), Tammie Greer, Jerry Helton (Stacy), and James Helton (Lisa), grandchildren, John R. Johnson, Brandon Hackler, Michael Hackler, Michael Helton, Holly Greer, Felicia Helton, David Boyd II, Ryan Greer, Dustin Boyd, Tennoa Helton, Amber Helton, Angel Helton, Ashley Helton, Alexandra Helton, and Cody Lawson, 23 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Visitation for Sandy Helton will be held from 4-5pm on Monday May 2, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 5pm with Rev. Raymond Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Jerry Helton Cemetery in Woodbine, KY.
