Sandy '"Gram"' Wyatt

Sandy "Gram" Wyatt, 61, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Hazard, she was the daughter of the late James Elmer Fugate and Wanda Faye Duncil Fugate. She was a registered nurse and was a caregiver to many, and loved being with her family. She formerly worked for Cumberland Valley Surgical Center in Corbin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert "Bob" Fugate.
Sandy is survived by her husband Johnny Wyatt; children: Angie Harris and husband Matt,  Lora Sparks, Kristi Wyatt, Anthony Wyatt, and Amanda Conyers; brothers and sisters: Dianne Grigsby (Tony), Jeff Fugate, Chris Fugate (Jairzinha), and Rose Wilson; sister-in-law Deb Fugate; and by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other family members who mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 26, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Dakota Whitis, Matt Harris, Jr., Brien Harris, Braxton Hubbs, Joshua Fugate, and James Fugate. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey Wilson, Dillan Harris, Matthew Fugate, Austin Kelly, and Autumn Whitis.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 PM Friday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
