Sarah Lauretta Warren

Sarah Lauretta (Vaughn) Warren, 76, of Gray, KY passed away on June 18, 2023, at Baptist Health, Corbin, KY.

She was born May 20, 1947, in Corbin, KY as the youngest child to John Frank Vaughn and Viola Phipps Vaughn.

On May 29, 1965, she married Russell Warren, and they enjoyed 50 years together before his death on January 9, 2016.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, four sisters: Lavona Bice, Faye Monhollen, Ann Chin and Treva Vaughn; and four brothers: John Vaughn, Bill Vaughn, Clarence Vaughn and Don Vaughn.

She is survived by her children: Brenda Warren, Hazel Carnes (Bobby), Roger Warren, Rodney Warren and Rhonda Tiller (Steve); her grandchildren: Megan Warren, Trent Warren (Sierra), Trisha Carnes, RJ Warren (Breanna), Ashley Tiller, Nathan Tiller, Mary Tiller, Matthew Walters, and April Tiller; and her great grandchildren: Mateo, Bella, Mosiah and Adalee.

She is also survived by one brother, Calvin Vaughn (Charlotte), one sister, Violet Blankenship, her brothers-in-law, Orville Warren (Susan) and Buford Warren (Linda) along with many many nieces, nephews and other family.

Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, and from 10-11am on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

The funeral services will be at 11am on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Warren and Rev. Jason Keith officiating.

Following the service, she will be laid to rest in the Warren Family Cemetery in Gray, KY.
