Saundra Eugene Newman

Saundra Eugene Newman, age 72, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday October 22, 2015 at St Joseph Hospital in London, KY.
She was born on April 1, 1943 a daughter of the late, Eugene Wilson Newman and Thelma Corine Carpenter Newman. Saundra was a Baptist by faith and in her younger years enjoyed cooking, embroidering, reading, coloring, and playing music.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Brother-in-law, Kenneth Smith.
Saundra is survived by her Sister, Bama Darlene Newman Smith; Nephew, Gene Smith and wife Rita; Nieces, Corine Church and husband Greg, and Vicki Kinney and husband Steve; Great Nieces, Julie Michelle Morgan and husband Brad, Amelia Anna Michelle Kinney; Great Nephew, Steven Timothy Tyler Kinney; Great Grand Nephew, Waylon George Morgan; Uncle and Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. George Smith; and by a special friend, Linda Jones
Funeral service for Saundra Newman will be held at 3pm on Sunday October 25, 2015 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Jackson officiating.
Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy with Tyler Kinney, Brad Morgan, Curt Dugger, Edwin Hensley, Richard Hensley, and Josh Mills serving as Pallbearers.
