Shana Potter Hamilton

Shana Lena Potter Hamilton, age 35, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at her residence in Corbin.
Shana worked as a phlebotomist for Lab Corp.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Evedean Potter and Betty and Carl Elliott; father Donnie Potter; uncles Gary Elliott and Darrell Potter; and aunt Linda Norton.
She is survived by her husband William Grant Hamilton III; two children Hanna Leigh Hamilton and Jacob Grant Hamilton; parents Larry and Deborah Elliott Goodin; three sisters Sarah Lawson (Matt) of Williamsburg, Amy Potter of Corbin, and Racheal Fuson (Scottie) of Williamsburg; brother Ethan Goodin of Corbin; two aunts Carolyn Reeves and Donna Hart (Bob); uncle Larry Elliott (Carla); five nephews and five nieces; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill Hamilton and Margaret Hamilton.
A private funeral service was held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Thurston Hensley officiating. Burial was in the Elliott Cemetery.
