Shannon Lock

Shannon Suzanne Lock, age 49 passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at her home in London, Kentucky.

She was born in Covington, Kentucky on August 14,1974 to the late John Askins and Mona Sue Carpenter who survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by Elmer Carpenter.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Lock; daughter, Ashlie Harris (Meglasius); sons, Chance Hubbard, Jacob Askins, and Lowell Hubbard (Angel); special daughter, Mackenzie Askins; parents, Daddy Jessie Norman, and Sue Carpenter; sister, Crystal Bruner (Chris); grandchildren, Addalyn, Kendlee, and Logan Hubbard; great nephews, Christian, Mavrick, and Colston Smith; and aunts, Julie Karr, Louella Davenport, and Ruth Metcalf.

Visitation for Shannon will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Friday, February 2, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Amy Gatliff officiating.

Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, KY, with Chance Hubbard, Devin Smith, John Bargo, Meglasius Harris, Larry Gatliff, Tyler Salyers and Jeremy Davenport serving as pallbearers.
