Sharon Gale Hamlet

Sharon Gale Hamlet, age 71, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday December 18, 2021, at her home. She was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, and was a member of the Corbin Church of the Nazarene. A loving mother and grandmother, Sharon enjoyed nature, gardening and being with her church family.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hamlet; daughter, Brenda Gail Jackson; father, Calvin Louie, mother, Edith Fleet Gunnels, and by three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her children, Angie Cathers (Don), Mike Scott (Emily), and Matt Scott; brothers, Donald and Mark Gunnels; sister, Lisa Jenkins; grandchildren, Michael Shane Brown (Tara), Tosha Brock (Tony), Brooke Amberg (Ryan), Mickella Mobely (Cody), Brittany Henegar (T.J.), Michael Scott, and Marisa Scott; great grandchildren, John Michael, Elizabeth, P.J., Parker, Gracie, Jayden, Cayden, Makeena, Jaxon, and four angel babies;
Visitation for Sharon Gale Hamlet will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 8pm with Rev. Charlie Humfleet officiating.
