Sherry Francis Barton

Sherry Francis Barton, age 48, of Corbin passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at Greg and Norean Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky.
She was born February 8, 1971 to the late Sherman and Betty Combs McIntosh. Sherry loved animals and was an avid horseback rider. She worked for Firestone as a production assistant and was a Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Charlie McIntosh. Sherry is survived by her husband, Edward "Eddie" Barton; Sisters, Virginia Carter (Billy) and Sondra Worley; Brothers, Darrell McIntosh (Clara) and Earnest McIntosh (April); and by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Billy D. Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Brafford Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky.
Visitation will from 6:00-9:00 PM Thursday, February 6th at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to assist with funeral expenses. Donations can be made by selecting the red "Donate Now" icon. All contributions will go directly to assisting with expenses and the family will be provided a list of all who donated.
