Shirley A Overbey

Shirley A. Overbey, age 81, of Corbin passed away on Saturday June 8, 2019 at Baptist Health in Lexington.
She was born in Harlan County to the late Tipton Owens and Charity Helton Owens; Shirley was a member of North Corbin Missionary Baptist Church and active with the Corbin Senior Citizens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Paul Overbey; Son, Terry Bennett; Daughter, Kathy Bennett; and by her six siblings.
Shirley is survived by her Son, Brian Mabe and wife Lakeshia; Grandchildren, Terry McKinley Mabe, Peyton "Skeeter" Mabe, and Jordan Matthew Mabe; and several neices, nephews, anb her special friends, Gracie Hale, Carl Hoskins, Carl and Wanda Middleton; and by her numerous friends at Corbin Senior Citizens.
Visitation will be on Thursday June 13, 2019 from 10am until 12noon at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where messages may be written to the family at vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
