Shirley Ann Rickett

Shirley Ann Rickett, age 82, of Corbin, passed away on Monday October 11, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin, KY. She was born in Cumberland, Kentucky and loved rooting for the UK Wildcats. Shirley enjoyed working in her garden and loved being with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Virgil Rickett; son, Mark Rickett; parents, Randolph Disney and Cordelia Gillum Disney; brothers, Jack Disney, James Disney, Bill Disney, and David Disney; and by her sister, Monette Little. Shirley is survived by her children, Randy Rickett (Kathy), and Gary Rickett (Marcia); 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Thursday October 14, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday October 15th at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky. Messages of condolence may be written to the family at vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
