Shirley Ann Hicks

Shirley Ann Hicks, age 62, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Friday November 8, 2024, at Baptist Health in Corbin.

Born in Knox County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Hicks and Lida Bingham Hicks. Shirley was a special girl and a true ray of God's light in this world. Shirley only knew how to love, and she dearly loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ronnie Paul.

Shirley is survived by her siblings, Harold Hicks (Linda), Costello Hicks, Betty Gray (Theron), Leona Paul, Brenda Cox, Clyde Hicks (Debbie), Opal Garrison, Arlene Young (Jimmy), and Shanna Kirk; and by many nieces and nephews.

A gathering will be held from 11am until 12noon on Monday November 11, 2024, at the Hicks Cemetery , Salt Lick Road, Corbin, where her graveside service will be held at 12noon with Rev. Timothy Puckett officiating.
