Shirley Lynn Hendrickson

Shirley Lynn Hendrickson, age 63, of Corbin, KY, passed away at home on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

Born in Corbin, she was a daughter of the late James Hendrickson and Lois Holt Hendrickson. Shirley was a joyful, kind person. She always enjoyed the company of others and bringing laughter to her family and friends. Most of all, Shirley loved spending time with her grandchildren and granddogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Darrell Ball.

Shirley is survived by her children, Chris Cox and wife Crystal, Jessica Cox, Billy Fore, and Rachel Fore-Turner and husband Darron Turner; grandchildren, Destinee Johnson, Cody Cox, Jaylynn Fore, Landyn Walters, Caleb Fore, Leighton Turner, Rayden Fore, and Kade Fore; siblings, Cookie Byrd and husband Ted, Jimmy Hendrickson and wife Tammy, Sugar Ball, Bobby Hendrickson and wife Kathy, and Shelia Bingham and husband Terry; and by numerous cousins and friends who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Sunday, January 21, 2023, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2pm.

A private graveside service will be held at McFarland Cemetery, in West Corbin, KY.
