Sophia Engle

Sophia Engle, age 67, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 15, 2004 at home.
She was born on November 12, 1936 in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Preston Nantz and Myra Baker Nantz.
She was a homemaker and attended the Flatwoods Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Grandson, Jimmmy "Fellar" Strunk, and a Brother Tommy "Doug" Nantz.
She is survived by her husband Eugene Engle; her Five Children, Tina Collett and her husband Eugene of Corbin, Jack Mosgrove and his wife Paige of Flatwoods, Rickie Mosgrove and his wife Rebecca of Keavy, William Mosgrove and his wife Tracy of Beaver Dam, KY, and Tammy Smith Ramos and her husband Ramiro of Flatwoods; 10 Grandchildren, and Eight Great Grandchildren; Nine Sisters and Seven Brothers including her twin Brother Ossie Nantz.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 17, 2004 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Brother Don Stidham officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Friday.
