Spyridon Theodore Armenis

Spyridon Theodore Armenis, 56, of London, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2006 in Evansville, Indiana.
Born May 13, 1949 in Greece, he was the son of the late Theodore and Marika Armenis. After graduating from City College in New York City, he obtained his doctorate at MIT. He was self-employed as a geologist and geo-physicist, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist in London, Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife Linda Armenis of London; his sister, Calli Simeonidis of Jacksonville, Florida; step-son, Michael Sizemore of Wooten, Kentucky; two nephews, Theodore Simeonidis and Vacelius Simeonidis of Jacksonville, Florida; sisters-in-law, Erika Ritchie of Corbin and Annette Miniard (Willard Jr.) of Yeaddiss, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Bob Cornette (Teresa) of Slemp, Kentucky; and mother-in-law, Emily Cornette of Slemp, Kentucky.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006 at the Pine Hill Cemetery with Pastor Fred Calkins officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
