Stanley L. Mcfarland

Stanley L. McFarland was born on August 8, 1941, to the late Martin McFarland and Virginia Spurlock McFarland and departed this life on August 6, 2022, at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 28 days. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Delano McFarland (and wife Carrie) and his sister, Geraldine McFarland Harris (and husband Dee). He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alma McFarland, daughters, Paula McFarland Bargo (and husband Mike), Melissa McFarland Crump (and husband Rodney), Linda McFarland Wombles (and husband Robert), Martina McFarland Carpenter (and husband Steve), Deborah McFarland Campbell (and husband Jeremy), and one son Dale McFarland (and wife Marlana). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends who mourn his death. Services will be held at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. His funeral will be Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 11:00am with Brother Brian Howard and Brother Earl Caudill officiating He will be buried at McFarland Cemetery in Woodbine, KY. Pallbearers will be David Abrams, Mike Bargo, Jeremy Campbell, Christopher Carpenter, Steve Carpenter, Shane Crump, Brandon Hunt, and Joshua Hunt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brody Campbell, Matthew Crump, Micah McFarland and Joshua Wombles.
