Stephen Ray Childress

Stephen Ray Childress, age 48, of Corbin, passed away on Friday December 21, 2018 at Baptist Health Corbin.
He was born in Lexington and loved playing bluegrass music.
Stephen was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Paul Edward Williams and Pearlie Pauline Leach.
He is survived by his Wife, Lucynda Richardson Childress; Parents, Jerry and Fletta Childress; Children; Stephen Childress Jr., Fletta Fleeman, Roy Childress, Nancy Childress, and Mitchell Childress; Grandchildren; Stephen Childress III, Pauline Childress, Tammy Childress, Chloe Fleeman, Patrick Fleeman, Autumn Childress, Summer Childress, and Cayden Childress; and by a Brother, Robert Paul Childress.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday December 26, 2018 at the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints, Browning Acres Road in Corbin with Bishop James Potter speaking.  Burial will follow in the Childress Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11am until 1pm at the LDS Church.
