Stuart Everett Oliver

Stuart Everett Oliver, age 83, of Gray, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024, in Gray.

Born in Covington, KY, he was a US Navy veteran.  He traveled the world during his time in the Navy, and following his time in the service, he continued his travels working with the carnival before finally settling down in Gray, KY, where he enjoyed getting together on the weekends playing music with his family and friends.  Stuart was a talented musician and loved playing his guitar.  Beyond traveling and music, his hobbies were playing cards, listening to music, working in his garage, and riding his motorcycle.  He was a skilled mechanic and enjoyed sports cars and motorcycles.

He is survived by his children, Kasey Oliver (Cody Steele) and her mother Judy Hamblin, Heather Perry (Kevin), Patricia Oliver Hair (Donald), Donna Toler, and Earl Oliver; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and by two sisters, Norma Jean and Brenda.

The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Wednesday from 4-6 pm at the American Legion Post #88 in Corbin, Kentucky.  The American Legion will conduct Military Honors at 4:30 pm on Wednesday.
