Sylvia Johnson Harmon

Sylvia E. Johnson Harmon, 84, of Walton, Kentucky, passed away at her home in Walton on Tuesday, March 23, 2010.
Born in Corbin to the late Bill and Lizzie Johnson, she was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Edward Harmon Sr.
She is survived by her children, Janice Dobbins of Walton, Kentucky, Sandy Brandenburg and husband Charlie of Norwood, Ohio, Pamela Morris and husband Jerry of Walton, and Freddy Harmon Jr. of Wilmington, Ohio; grandchildren, Melissa Dobbins (Brandon), Kristel Dobbins, Michael Brandenburg, Cindy Morris, and Shelley Callen and husband Dale; brothers and sisters, James Earl Johnson and wife Muriel of Corbin, Cova Johnson and wife Barb of Nancy, Kentucky, and Wanda Wooten and husband Arville of Milford, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews who mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm Saturday, March 27, until the time of the funeral at 3:00 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin. Rev. Bill Campbell will be officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin.
