Sylvia Maria Disney

Sylvia "Sibby" Maria Barton Disney, age 80, of Gray, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at her home.

Born in Corbin, Kentucky, Sibby was a daughter to the late Ralph Barton and Julia Cima Barton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Disney, and by many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her children, Olga Shepherd (Tim) and Edward Disney, Jr, grandchildren, Julia Shepherd and Linda Sheperd, and her brother, Joseph Barton of Gray, Ky.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held at 8pm.

A funeral mass will begin at 11am on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Damian Anumba officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
