Tabitha Renee Jenkins

December 22, 1981 — November 1, 2018

‶The way to Heaven is on horseback″ - author Unknown.
Anyone that knew Tabitha Renee Siler-Jenkins knew that horses were her first love. Seemingly from birth, she could be found running side by side with a horse. Her favorite books and movies contained those majestic creatures, furthering her love of them. With this knowledge, it is fitting to call her an unbridled spirit.
Born December 22, 1981, Tabitha was as wild and carefree as the mustangs that run freely in the open. She couldn’t be corralled, didn’t want to be lassoed. She lived her life like her spirit animal, slowing down only to take in the rare beauty she found sitting on horseback on a mountain.
In the early hours of November 1, 2018, Tabitha galloped off into the dusk to be with our Heavenly father. Though many mourn her here on Earth, she is reunited with loved ones who went on before her, namely her father Finley Lawson and her great-grandparents Mollie and Alvis Fields, and brother Stanley Lawson. She is in what is surely to be her version of Heaven, running free with wild horses through country hills and fields of grain.
On Earth, she is missed by the following: mother Angela Siler, Mamaw and Papaw Janice and Joe Siler, children Tamara (Sean), Ryan and Kevin, uncles Joey, Gary and Greg, brothers LaVon,Michael,  Matthew, and Tyler; sister Jessica, fiance, Kevin Theodore Brown; several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Though her time on this Earth was cut way too short, the impact she left on those who knew her was mighty. She was the type of person who cared deeply for those she loved. She was selfless, kind-hearted and always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved with every ounce of her heart.
Tabitha will be missed by so many people. Her wish would be for everyone to live their lives as fully and wholly as she would. Her wish for her family would be to continue to love each other, let by-gones be by-gones. Her wish for her children would be to change this world by being the change. Break the boundaries that will be placed on you and never stop fighting. She loved her kids with all she had and she was so proud of all three of them.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott Cemetery, Rockholds, KY.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Donations are asked to be made to the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home to help with expenses.
