Teddy Trosper

Teddy Trosper, 66, of Corbin passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Baptist Health Corbin.
A Corbin native, he was a son of the late James B. Trosper, Sr. and Helen Louise Yon Trosper, and grandson of the late Ted and Susie Trosper, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Yon.
Teddy was a Corbin High School graduate. He was a past treasurer of the Redhound Varsity Club and had been inducted into the Redhound Hall of Fame. He served in the Kentucky National Guard and had been an engineer for the L&N/CSX Railroad. He belonged to First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Marsha Trosper, sons David Trosper of Walton and Kyle Trosper and wife Rachael of Williamsburg; grandchildren Grace, Levi, and Liza Trosper; a sister Donna Trosper of Corbin and a brother Jim Trosper and wife Jo Lynn of Manchester.
Teddy's visitation will be from 5 until 8 pm Saturday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. His funeral will be held at 1 pm Sunday, with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
