Teresa May Taylor

Teresa May Taylor, age 58, of Woodbine, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Baptist Health Corbin.

Born in Corbin, she was a daughter of the late Noah Taylor and Rosa Lee Engle Jones. Teresa was a gifted cook and a clean fanatic. While she was tough as nails, she was also a sweet, loving person. She never turned her back to someone in need and was more than happy to share her gift of cooking with others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Tina Taylor, Noah Taylor, Luke Taylor, and Booboo Taylor and by her grandparents.

Teresa is survived by her children, Crystal Grant (Leon Ray), Ronnie Taylor (Amy Taylor), April Taylor (Mitch), and Michael Taylor, grandchildren, Jeremiah Brown, Madison Taylor, Justin Taylor, Michael Lyndon Taylor, Gary Carter (Kaitlyn Smith), Austin Bennett, Shawn Bennett, Brayden Bennett, Abagail Hart, Michael Carter, and Dustie Kidd, siblings, Georgia Brock (James), Lisa Roark, John Jones, George Jones, Tommy Taylor, and Veda Taylor, aunts, Elizabeth Elliott and Rita Smith, the father of April and Ronnie, Ronnie Caldwell, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the funeral home with Rev. Sam Moore and Rev. Dwight Engle officiating.

Burial will follow in Candle Ridge Cemetery in Gray, KY.
