Theresa Marie Ellison

Theresa Marie Ellison, age 70, of London, passed away on Sunday December 23, 2018 at Diversicare of Claiborne in Tennessee.
She was born in Gray, Kentucky a daughter to the late Edward Dizney and Marie Foley Dizney;  She was retired from JC Penny's where she worked for over 20years.  A loving wife and mother who was a humble but strong and spiritual prayer warrior.  She faced life with a joyful attitude and was a gifted artist who loved painting.  Theresa was a member of New Hope Ministries Church of God in Corbin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Bill Ellison Sr in 2015; and by her Siblings, Eddie Dizney, Reggie Dizney, Shelvia Jean Sylvester, Loreeda Dizney, Violetta June Dizney, and Clesta Cox.
Theresa is survived by her Sons, Bill Ellison Jr. and wife Connie of London; and Anthony Ellison and girlfriend Megan Sevier of Richmond,KY; Grandchildren, Amanda Ellison and Rebecca Van Gelderen and husband Nathan; Siblings, Lanitta Moore and husband Jerry, Audelle Wyatt; Trudy Stevens and husband Richard, and Joy Karr; and by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday December 27, 2018 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Ellison officiating.  Burial will follow in Lynn Camp Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home where messages may be written to the family at vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
