Thomas Edward Williams

Thomas Edward Williams, 81, of Keavy, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Vox, Kentucky, he was the son of late Martin Williams and Bessie LeAnna Williams. He was a member of the Locust Grove Christian Church and was a United States Air Force veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Lois Judge Williams; brothers, infant Ray Williams, Morton Williams and Lewis Williams; and sisters, Lottie Wells and LeAnna Grace Steele.
He is survived by his children, Michael Holeyfield, Cynthia Alsip, Thomas E. Williams, Jr., and Phillip Dean Williams; siblings, Mazie Hollars, Iva Morris, Oscar H. Williams, Martha Medley, Margie Bennett, Faye Williams, Otis B. Williams, Robert L. Williams, Virginia "Jennie" Mills, and Georgia Kranzman; grandchildren, Todd and Garrett Alsip, LeAnn Bradley, and Carol Lynn Thomas; great-grandchildren, William, Issie, Maddox and Faith Alsip, T. Michael, J. Keith, and Bethany Ann Pollitt; step-children, Joan Bailey, Frank Finchum, and Kathy Strickland.
Funeral service will be at 11am on Friday, Jan. 16, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. David Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
